Bier
I was thinking of making oak larders and came up with some questions since I almost haven't trained this skill at all since it came out. Should I use the demon butler and pay him every eighth time? Is it faster to make him un-cert my notes or fetch planks from my bank? Is making him take logs to the sawmill an option at all? And is there anything else to take into consideration? Or is it best to use some other method entirely?
anonymouse_
Make dungeon doors/larders and have your demon butler bank for more planks.
Guy
Make oak larders from 72 till 74 then oak dungeon doors until 99/your desired level. You can get most stuff at level 80 if you use evil stew and tea, and practically everything from 85 using tea+stew. Yes, use demon butler. Do 2 larders, remove both, get him to un-cert/fetch 24 oak planks, quickly make+remove another oak larder, rinse and repeat. Same concept for doors. Same speed to un-cert/bank. Making him take logs to sawmill means you have to make him un-cert/fetch the logs, then plank them, which takes ages so not really an option. crashNburn
Why are you doing larders instead of doors? Interactive dungeoneering floor mapper
Troacctid
Recent updates have streamlined the conversation for fetching items from the bank and added a right-click option, so it's faster than using noted planks now. Bier
Why are you doing larders instead of doors?I didn't know you could make oak doors, but if there's a benefit to it I'll do that instead. I suppose they're better because they require more planks to make? Thanks for the answers!

I suppose I should have quoted the post I was responding to, my bad >< Larders are still the way to go until you hit 74 (unless you're willing to do mahogany tables), and you're exactly right about doors. Guy
Recent updates have streamlined the conversation for fetching items from the bank and added a right-click option, so it's faster than using noted planks now.If you un cert by clicking planks, then clicking him, then getting him to uncert, then the next time you can just right click and the option for un certing is there. (Ie. same as the fetching from bank method) RIP TET "That which does not kill us makes us stronger." - Friedrich Nietzsche
