DragonSam
I've had the problem before of not being able to sell something because the price was falling so fast. But I've been trying to sell 45 rune darts for the last week and can't, when the price is rising. Every time I tried to sell them at first I just went for market price. I'd come back 6 or 12 hours later and they wouldn't have sold and the price would have gone up so that the price I started at was now almost the base price. So, recently I've tried selling them at base price to start with, and when I come back 6 or 12 hours later the price I started at was now well below the base price, so the sleep timer had come up. Surely if the price is rising people are buying at higher than base price, so anyone trying to sell at base price should get a quick sale???? Apparently not, but I don't understand. Can anyone explain, and suggest what I should do to offload the things? Best drop so far: Dragon Chainbody from a Dust Devil.

DragonSam
Are they rune (p)? Thanks for asking, since I didn't specify. Yes, they're Rune darts (p). Best drop so far: Dragon Chainbody from a Dust Devil.

Bladewing
Rune (p) darts are tied to the prices of rune darts and weapon poison. E.G. 5 rune darts + 1 weapon poison = 5 rune (p) darts No one buys rune (p) darts because they are expensive and useless. Their price is rising because either rune darts are rising or weapon poison is rising. Rune (p) darts are known as "stable junk". To get rid of them you must lend out an item and use them as junk, or sell a bought out item and use them as junk, or trade them for some crashing junk + cash. xpx
The price is tied to normal rune darts and weapon poisons, so that's why you wouldn't be able to sell even if they are rising. You can sell them as normal rune darts after using cleaning cloth on them or just use them as junk if you want to lend something or sell something with a higher street value, but as you have only 45 of them and need the bank space, dropping is another option. Thanks everyone for your answers. I don't understand junk and lending. Can you explain how this works? Best drop so far: Dragon Chainbody from a Dust Devil. Johannas
In exchange for lending someone an item, they buy some junk of you. (Junk generally being items that are crashing in price, or items that do not sell on the G/E) Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!
