Apparently Apple is stock piling the CMDA chips that Verizons network runs on, leading towards a Verizon Iphone after Christmas. Will you be getting one?

I only will if they make a smaller Data Plan. Personally, the Customer Service at Verizon is terrible. Absolute Garbage, but the network is great.

Moved to T&C.

The data plans on Big Red won't be any better than AT&T, and if they are, AT&T will swiftly match their price - which is good for the consumer. I won't be switching (if it becomes available) because AT&T has superb service here.

Same. The only reason why I don't want one now is BECAUSE I didn't want to change services. Now I don't have to :D

Verizon iPhone, here I come!

If I were to switch to Verizon I would wait until they fully established their LTE network and Apple develops a 4G iPhone. Otherwise I'm happy with my current service on AT&T.

Yeah, no calls while online, using Maps, etc. :(

by no calls, you mean straight to voice mail? not even a chance to take the call?

Does the droid do it too?

i'm cool with the $30 Dataplan, Chump change really for the service it provides.

Because of the nature of Verizon's network (pre LTE, that is), you are not able to be on a call and surf the internet at the same time. I believe that the call takes precedent over data. For instance, you are able to take a call while using data, but you are not able to return to that data until after the call has been completed. If that makes sense.

Perfect sense, I was under the impression with the iphone, i wouldn't have the option to take the call if i was using data, thats a minor setback to me the way it is now. (i'm not talented enough to use both data and a call, the dataplan is strictly for collecting for me)
