getting members?

Just a few questions...

 

 

-Haven't played in 2-3 months and im wondering is members still worth getting?

-What are some of the new things?

-Why are climbing boots 73k now?

-My bank value is like 50m, 30m cash rest in items.

-What should i start doing to make cash, I believe my stats are in my Sig.

Members is definitely worth it. Only 6 bucks. Climbing boots are now 73k due to Jagex making their price reflective of how good their stats are (The strength bonus). They jacked the price up there, and a select few made millions off of it (Of course Jagex denies that people got insanely rich off of it).

 

As for cash, make sure to keep MTK up, do farming runs in between slayer, and do all the dailies you can. Welcome back.

4. Farming, Miscellania, dailies, and you could try your hand at merchanting as well. Also, you should do quests.

3 monthes, not alot has changed in such a short time. Biggest things being new treasure trials updates and dungeoneering update that was pretty large as well with resource dungeons, etc. Get members or dont play at all IMO.

If I where to get members again, what gear should I start out slaying with?

 

- torags.

- abyssal whip.

- glory.

- dragon boots.

- rune defender.

- (full) slayer helmet.

- slayer ring.

- fire cape.

- unicorns.--Healing--

 

Is there anything im missing or that should be changed.

Remember only have 30m cash...

After I get more cash up I'll upgrade a few items.

Also, which slayer monsters drops the new clue scroll and how often are they dropped.

I want to point out that under no reason should you ever "upgrade" from a defender to a dfs, defender way better.

Upgrade glory -> fury and slayer ring -> ferocious/berserker ring. Get a Soul Wars cape too. Gloves should be barrows gloves (do Recipe for Disaster ASAP and use a regen brace in the meantime).

 

Other than that, your basic kit is okay, so upgrade task-specific gear: Karil's for mage defense, Sara Sword for crushing waterfiends, Zammy Spear + super antifires (+ Ardougne Cloak 3) for stabbing the stronger dragons, and cannon + cannonballs where applicable. If you do get a DFS, it's good on wyverns but worse than a defender anywhere else.

As said Defender > DFS in like 97% of the situations. Only really good for certain boss monsters where defense is really needed. Even then there are cheaper options. The elite shields are really only useful if you really have an epic cashpile rotting your bank.

Amen. On slayer, I would only use DFS on Wyverns.
