61 - 85 Herblore

Featured Replies

So, I've been hearing that the second double EXP weekend has been announced.

But I've run into a bit of a problem...

I thought i would have time to buy back my claws after getting 95 prayer before i had to start stockpiling money for double EXP weekend and 85 herblore. I think I'm gonna have to wait a little longer to buy my claws back.

I have a little over 22M saved at the moment. And I'm using Laura's guide to make about 1M daily.

So, i should have a decent amount by the time it hits. I just need to start stockpiling herbs.

Which brings me to my question.

How should i go about getting 85 herblore? I'm 61 at the moment, and have never really looked into training it. I don't want it to be extremely expensive, but i don't want a really slow method either. Because i want to make my time count. So I'd like sorta a middle-of-the-road method. If anyone could help me with this. Thanks!

Super attacks could be decent (can't remember the level to make them, I think you can), but good luck buying materials.

If you dont want it to be expensive better spend less time planning and asking questions and more time buying herbs like yesterday. Most herb stuff sells instantly at max (most as in almost all)! Everyones stocking up.

I'd say super defence is decent, I got 1500 pots worth of the stuff (it bought quite well yesterday) and it's 150 xp per pot unboosted. The herbs are around 3k, the seconds about 1k, and the whole sells for a few hundred gp, so you still lose quite a bit.

The nice thing about pots like that that are worth nothing is that you don't have to worry about selling them afterwards. For instance, something like a prayer pot may be better gp/exp, but you have to sell the finished pot then buy ingredients to make a new one, which obviously will not be an option during the xp weekend. I would advise training using pots that are worth nothing when you're finished but have a decent gp/xp ration
