ZMI altar

So i'm gonna rc at the zmi altar at bonus xp weekend but ive never done it before. I've looked at what tip.it says but i need a specific equipment setup to avoid the zamorak warriors, also should i bank at altar or teleport to lunar to bank? I can't afford arma or even karils but i'd like a decent mage def and prayer bonus setup. Thanks

Banking at the ZMI banker is faster than teleing to lunar isle to bank.

 

Equipment doesn't make much of a difference, whatever you'd wear for abyssing (bear head, hunter camo stuff, etc). Prayer bonus is also really a non-issue considering the location of the altar.

Wear black dragonhide, regen brace, ardougne cloak 3, and falador shield 3. Pray protect from range and recharge at the altar when you need to. W70 is the official ZMI world.

You do get bonus experience from ZMI on the bonus weekend.

 

When ZMI crafting, make sure to have a full bank so you can just hit deposit all instead of clicking to deposit each rune individually. Use a cheap rune like fire or mind runes to bank. Pray ranged. Buy afros from Party Pete for a quick ~30 bank spaces. ;)

I bank at Lunar Isle. Also if you're going with a full bank (keeping your tele runes on you of course) then take a terrorbird and scrolls for run energy - it will save you a LOT of time sitting down.

 

Usually when you bank you regain about enough run, but when you're doing the quick 'deposit all' banking with a full bank it's much quicker.

Don't take a terrorbird, use a parasite/lurker and pop 2 dose energy pots if you need to.

 

Unless you're 3 pouching at zmi or something, which makes little sense, the extra ess from a familiar is important to maintaining a decent exp rate.

I'm using duel ring to tele to CW then Ourania tele. It's definitely faster and at 50 Rc I'm making more laws and astrals then I use so the only real cost is duel rings.

 

You can also use the dungeoneering ring for free. I don't think there is a limit to tele's there.

Banking at eniola is the confirmed fastest way to bank, even if you have to carry stacks of laws/astrals.

 

Jewelery ports are an okay alternative, however a ring of kinship is never worth it over duelling rings efficiency-wise, the cost is absolutely insignificant compared to the time saved. Ring of kinship is horrifically slow.
