Few last tips needed for bonus EXP weekend...

I'm planning on getting up any and all skills that i hate, tomorrow. Though i have a pretty small cash pile at the moment... Only about 4-ish mill after i collect from MTK.

There's a few I'm having trouble with...

I have 66 fletching, and I'm planning to go for 80 (or maybe just 77 and pot) for the Seers diary. What would be the best way to go about this? Stringing yew shortbows? =S

Also, I'm 67 smithing and need 71 for the Varrock diary. How would i go about leveling this up? Do goldsmith gauntlets still work on the weekend? Because my take is that they don't.

After i do these two skills, i plan on using my left over bonus on fishing to get 71 then pie for the seers diary. And after that, I'm planning on going for 78/80 cooking with what i have left over from that. What should i cook? Monks are kinda out of the question because i haven't done Swan's Song(Though i would have if it wasn't such short notice >.> ). Anyway, I was thinking swordfish.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Goldsmith gauntlets do not work for this weekend.

And for any skill: Just do the best xp method out there you can.

For fletching that means make the best bow you can.

For smithing smith the highest metal you can (xp is per bar) [note SMITH do not smelt]

Most skills in normal trianing you user lower methods to save costs, but xp weekend is the time to throw money at these skills to maximise your gains.

There only a few where its better to stick to tired and tested methods eg Con oak larders still good idea as most other things are far slower and more combersome to make/remove alot so would slow xp

Best not train stuff at which you can use SC tools though.

Fletching has the knife, so you shouldn't have to do that.

Smithing has GSGauntlets, and even if smithing with hammer you should use SC tools.

Your best bet would be gathering skills, combat (Slayer!) or skills like agility and thieving.

For cooking just get the highest fish you can cook, don't think about money this weekend.

SC tools actually reduce xp rates on some skills; for fletching you want to do bolts. Smithing I'd just afk at work/when doing homework with gauntlets (NOT on the xp weekend).

SC tools do not degrade at all during the xp weekend, even if you use them when the multiplier is below 2x

I was referring to the situation outside the xp weekend.

E.G. there is no reason not to train skills that you could train with sc tools.
