How does a profession differ from an occupation?

hey man its me again,

im sorry to say this but i really dont like it, it just doesn't appeal to me and looks bland.

but im gonna help you out instead of bringing you down.

obviously from your first one and this one i see you like red... so as i said before try going more for the realistic look, so if you want red i would first go for a redish-orange color in the sky to get used to different colors on terragen. the sky overall looks good but the landscape makes the whole thing look kind of bad so if i were you and i wanted to make a lake, i would make sure that the mountains dont rise up out of nowhere(increase tool size and maybe even lower the amount) and keep the camera at least 20m above the sea until you get used to the realistic look. once you can do good realism just do whatever you want but until then, keep workin on it.

I would listen to mi3, he's really good at this kind of stuff, and has done some exceptionally awsome sigs (check his thread).

Btw, I'd say pretty good first try, I just don't get the reddish landscape (and white spots are a bit weird).

I would give some advice, but after what mi3 said, do I really need to? :P

6/10 for your second try though. If you follow mi3's advice, it'll be alot a better.

Hmm, that kind of reminds me of one of my early pieces, except better. I'll post it in a second so you can see what not to do. :P

Ok, here is a really bad landscape with a similar style to yours. I think this one might have been my first.

It looks nice to me....

Anyways yea keep up the work. Just keep on posting your pics and youl eventually get better feedback. The background was all that was bad, thats all.

demeige, maybe its just me but that looks a lot like a screen shot, so i would also recomend saving your terragen pictures then post them here at better quality than the screenshot.
