hey guys, I was wondering if during Green Dragon trips, its more profitable to fill mine and my familiars inventory with just bones or should i pick up the green d'hides as well?

Dragon bones are 5490 gp.

 

They are hardly "equally valuable"

 

And it really depends on how fast you can bank.

 

If banking takes you less then 1/3 the time it takes you to fill your invy/beast of burden, then gather both.

I would say that them both. If you dont you are essentially throwing away ~2k per dragon, which would cut into your profits

If you cannon them, only go for bones, you will fill up so fast that picking up d hides might loose you some bones. Else do pick up both.

You're interpreting it incorrectly.

 

While the wording is confusing, you can assume that he meant both the hides and the bones are valuable and sellable, not that they are both equally valuable and equally sellable.

It is a direct function of how fast you can bank. If you're doing it right, you should be banking quickly, meaning you should pick up both.

It's not even confusing wording if you understand the English language. Valuable does not mean the same as value. and Equally does not always mean the same as equal.

 

Equally valuable merely means that both are considered to be valuable.

In the same way a £500 diamond ring and a £2 teddy from a car boot sale a loved one gave you can be equally valuable to you; but in no way have the same monetary value.
