Accuracy Ammies - LOL!

Featured Replies

Okey!

So if you haven't heard yet, the Accuracy Ammy prices are getting nerfed!

I find this hilarious because so many merchants had their hands on a mass supply each.

However, Jagex cleverly enough doesn't mention the fact they were being Merched (Which could be gathered by obvious info from the G.E. database charts regardless) but instead they talk about how it started to become an item in low supply.

Anyways, I just wanted to point out if they could do this to an item so heavily abused in price with a low supply, they could do it to Discontinued Items as well.

The word Discontiued is only that, a word.

There's no reason to stop at the Ammies.

Jagex is finally taking longer leaps into stopping Merchanting & RWT, & I for one, approve.

+1 Jagex, +1.

2. "So heyyy, that's a pretty reasonable reaction huh?"

3. "So you up for NAFTA?"

4. "That went exactly how I wanted it to."

Um, they're making a rare, low level quest reward more easily re-obtainable, since a reward from a low level quest shouldn't be rare item; nor should a quest-only item be limited to one per account. I don't see why this is a precedence for making rares more obtainable. Besides, adding ANY sort of supply to rares would defeat the entire point of them, and annoy pretty much every singe person who owns a rare (I have a blue h'ween mask and I'd be annoyed) for no particular reason. It's not like rares have any practical use anyways...

Sounds like a good change for the amulets though.

Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.

Buying spins make you a bad person...don't do it. It's like buying nukes for North Korea.

Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame:

your article was the equivalent of a circumcized porcupine

The only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it.

Poignant Purple to Lokie's Ravishing Red and Alg's Brilliant Blue.

He stated it was very, very rare for them to do this. I'm sorry but it just doesn't look like they are going to take action against merchanting anytime soon.

Oh, & btw.

This was pretty adorable too:

Check out the Thread on the Forums & look through all 9 Pages of replies so far.

You'd think there'd be alot more flame than there is, but I've only seen a few players hatin'.

You know the Ammy hoarders are seriously butthurt if they'd rather just quit & lose their 100M investment than just flame Jagex first for their own mistake.

This might be the only relevant topic you've ever made (except for the drivel about rares being changed like the amulets are). It sounds like these were being merched by manipulation clans, which I think is funny.

To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

O_O

When did Accuracy Amulets get so bloody high I've only been playing LoL and TF2 and Halo Reach mainly for 3 weeks to have this happen.

Thus was said about Climbing Boots as well.

However, the scenario was quite the opposite & for different reasons.

Jagex is obviously doing what they see best - With little to no feedback from players.

So tell me, why would you believe them?

Exactly, but they're giving short notice to those who stocked up on them.

So, they obviously want players to know we know what they know.

People give Jagex far less credit than they deserve.

All I'm gunna' say is, keep checking the D Item Forum regularly.

If there isn't a panic, there will surely be some merchants rage-quitting. :)

That's only two examples in how many number of years. That's hardly evidence against merchanting..

It took a little while, but eventually Jagex realized how flawed the G.E. has become.

It doesn't prevent RWT, it indeed makes the transactions easier to be blantly honest.

These transactions are so easy more & more players are beginning to do them seeing as they see it as their last hope to obtain 'x' items.

The best part about RWT these days is how much safer it is thanks to the G.E.

Now you need to actually pay 500M cash for a Phat rather than receiving 5 of em' for free on any given day. ;)

Give it up.

You flaming me on every Thread I make is rather an annoyance to me rather than a lesson you think I need to be taught.

Also, good to see you stayed on Topic to an extent this time.

Nobody likes a hypocrit.

I tend to stay on topic when the topic is somewhat decent, hence why I pointed out that this is the only relevant topic you've ever made. :) If you have a problem with my posts, feel free to report them.

The climbing boots nerf was completely idiotic. This one is actually a good idea. I don't see how these two instances mean anything to the rares market.

Also, if anyone has a QFC for any information regarding the changes on the 'Rock-Climbing Boots' way back when I'd love to take a look @ those Thread(s).

I've explained it twice in this Thread.

If you've failed to understand the concept, have somebody else explain it to you.

Yes, I do fail to understand "the concept" (lol). I think you're right, though - it would probably make more sense for someone else to explain it, because I literally can't understand 90% of what you type.

Undo are you talking about those people who claimed to have thousands of climbing boots? Because they didn't ever exist...

The "Thousands" doesn't concern me.

& Even if they "Didn't exist", how would you know? Because Jagex told you? LOL. Ofc they're going to tell you that.

Tbh, a player with let alone 100 of those boots made off with quite a nice profit even for only a day.

& I'm sure there's alot of Pkers who stocked up like they do on those.

If I remember right, Jagex said one of the reasons for the price change with the CBoots was because they were underpriced for their bonuses they provide?

People did make a lot of money off the climbing boots change, I am not going to give any names but someone on staff here profited from it and made a few hundred million for one, I'm sure they're not the only one.

Wow, read what I JUST posted.

How the hell would you even legitly know?

The only people that could provide an overall statistic would be Jagex.

& Them alone saying so & so DID IN FACT profit of such and such would make them look bad - How it did from the start before they provided that possible hoaxed info.

I guarantee you some people made out quite nicely.

they could of course just reimburse the people with amulets with pure cash of their value now then opt so you can buy them back at the new price everybody starting with 0, it will be interesting to see how this develops..

It's fairly common sense as it was a currency in RSC for a while before they reopened it to new players (flooding the market once more) seems to be a sluggishly made change, but balance is welcome.

smellysockssigbyblfazer.png

Sorry, I just cant take you seriously with the "LOL" in the thread title.

I like how they are changing an item aimed at low levels back so low levels can use them without fear of losing them though.

There's no reason why they'd do that.

None at all.

No reason that could benefit them other than a few merchants quitting because of a mistake they made.

Jagex has said themselves they allow Merchanting but make sure you know what you're risking.

Because some players invest in an item and it's not the players making the chance to the supplies it's jagex, climbing boots was the opposite a lower end item being bumped up in price, this is decreasing the value of the item so Jagex I feel should atleast give some consellation to those players (I don't have any).

I do see the way that mint cakes were altered but you have to remember that those weren't obtainable from a quest reward, I'm not saying it will happen I'm saying from my view point it would be nice if they did, because it is not the players who originally made it one per person, unlike newer quest items.
