December 14, 200520 yr im sure that many people have suggest that runescape should have some texture in the sky; when ever u look up all u see is this big black mass. however, what i think would be good, is if the sky had weather....eg if it was raining in london, all the london servers would have rain furthermore, because u see black mostly along the horizon, there should be a simple set of 2d horizon veiws for each section of the world. The wilderness would have a volcanoe, ports would have the sea on one side and land on the other ect. wat u think..flame me to hell if u want...just tell me what about!
December 14, 200520 yr I like the idea of weather.. but it would be annoying sometimes and suck up [cabbage]lodas of cpu..
December 14, 200520 yr Think about the lag it would create... I suppose it won't if you don't create weathers though, like just plain blue sky or something. Why do you resist? December 14, 200520 yr It is a nice idea. Although, when experiencing the wonderful game of *shudders* Eternal Lands, I found that as soon as it rained, everyone was like: "OMG lag pl0x?!" I think that games in java, but either way I can't see RuneScape's capabilities being that much better. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
December 14, 200520 yr If it rains and you have to run over slippery logs for agility... man that'll be hard
December 14, 200520 yr well, I guess that you could have this; I don't really object to the sky, but the other stuff? well, why? I supppose they could darken the sky at some time for it to be "night" (which I think they were trying to do, did you notice that the map was a lot darker than usual?), but the weather thing is kind of pointless.
December 14, 200520 yr I really like the idea of weather reports being linked with weather on the servers :) Also jagex can start by making a simple night and day update by turning that black mass white, and during night it would go back to black, and for high detail it would fade away instead of going away by squares. December 15, 200520 yr Author i didn't think of the lag...i rarly experience it prehaps u could have an extra definition option like: low res high res and special effects like weather and properal animated water/lava streams, for those who have a good connection and computer

Thank you.
December 15, 200520 yr did you notice that the map was a lot darker than usual? Yup. I agree with whoever said that there would be options to turn weather/sky off and on. And in-game weather reports. "HIghs will reach 90 down in Karamja today..." Who cares if you wear a santa hat..... That's no achievment. Who cares if you can have 520M, if you have no friends, as well as no reason to play Runescape?
December 15, 200520 yr I suppose changeing the black to a nicer blue would work. And adding mist so the far away building would be a little fuzzy and MORE REALISRTIC! (40 crafting, 40 range)
December 16, 200520 yr Since we could only see a few metres before us in Runescape anyway, a mist would be unecessary. Why do you resist? My experiments are only helping humanity push the boundaries of the Art of Toxicology... you should be proud to be one of my victims. ~Toxicologist~
December 16, 200520 yr there in no real purpose to the mist....it would just end up looking fake and unrealistic (probably)
