How else do you think people got the high alch values for GSs, claws, and phats? Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement.Also check out my blug

The quest version of the sword is different (you may have noticed the icon next to its name), so that could be the problem. Otherwise, it's probably an error in the Wiki. Otherwise, it's probably an error in the Wiki.AFAIK the quest version can't be alched, but the post-quest one (the reward) apparently can.This isn't Balmung though, you'll have to pay 250k to buy it back, as opposed to Balmung which gives a free 1 time replacement and 150k(?) on subsequent replacements.

Otherwise, seeing how much a general store will buy a tradeable item usually gives the low alch, which is about 1/3 less than the high alch.
