Tormented Demons & Chaotic Weapons

What'd be best for tormented demons: a chaotic longsword or a chaotic maul (with extremes, turmoil and with/without steel titan)? I have elite void and the deflector, as well.

I already have the rapier, but I don't find it that good versus tormented demons, though it's really good elsewhere. I normally don't use a steel titan, by the way.

I'd go with cls + deflector if you must change, but if you are ok with using a hand cannon, that works well with maul I suppose.

Uhh rapier is just flat out awesome. Better than both cm + cls. Check my alog, I just got 35 kills in a trip w/o titan.

cls + divine > maul > c rapier > cls

 

with unicorn:

 

maul > rapier > cls

Uh I have maul + rapier. I really say rapier is better 140%

Cls + DEFENDER > Cr hands down. I have rapier and I use it at TD's, it's really not miuch better than a whip, and I'd say it's only better than a godsword because you can use a shield with it.

I find switching with a rapier too tiring lol, even though I used to switch with whip (idk, TDs bore me nowadays). Might just go with rapier for now. :thumbup:

Depending on the upcoming dungeoneering rewards, I might choose the maul next. CLS seems to suck (even more as I don't have a divine).

..and i get ~45 kills with Maul like that^

 

I have both rapier and maul; Rapier is not very accurate @ TDs - i have to be in full void, constant turmoiling and extreme pots for it to hit decently (decently - keeping in mind im used to Maul)

The Maul hits almost every time, and i do not constant turmoil - when it hits its ALMOST ALWAYS at least 310 damage (often 400-500 damage) - with rapier and cls you risk hitting under 310, with maul, not so much..

 

The Cls, keeping in mind ive never gotten to test it, is faster than maul, less accurate and less strenght aka. more than 1 hit to make the TD switch prayers.

Ive killed Tds faster with maul, than the random guy standing next to me with cls - sometimes he kills faster, but i always seem to win in the end

I personally find CLS with defender > Maul > Rapier when I'm using void, extremes, and turmoil.

You don't want to flick prayer in one hit when using rapier. The idea is to hit 300 - 400, doing 700 damage with your highest dps weapon (range being the lowest dps weapon). Of course you rarely get hits like that, but still, 200-300 and variants are also good hits.

Not for me..

Chaotic crossbow and void makes me hit very, very well - and ruby e bolts makes me hit up to 600

 

its not unusual for me to do 4 400-500 hits in a row...
