Wahsac
Hi I know we have all read about this topic over and over but I feel never do we hear true figures for this. I am talkiing best fastest fishing XP, GP not to be taken into account in this, pure XP per hour. I have read so many things and heard so many things about XP per hour for fishing, but most do notring true. Most now take Rocktails as the ultimate fishing XP per hour, I have heard top levels of 45k to 50k an hour. Now Yes I agree a top level can be 45k to whatever, most in any one hour I have made is 47k, and the lowest is 28k. I have done tests over 3 to 4 hours several time now and the average always comes out at 33k an hour. Is there anywhere anybody has posted an average XP over several hours for other types of fishing ?
green9090
If someone told you that rocktails are the best fishing exp/hour, you should probably never take their opinion seriously again. The fastest exp/hour is mousekeys dropping at the barbarian fishing place. Rocktails are only good because they only require attention every few minutes and give a meager profit. Hi What if you cannot do Mousekey dropping, IE: Mac owners who's version of this little prog does not do the same job ? Without mousekeys, your experience would fall from about 72k exp an hour, to 70k exp an hour or so. Fish 2 fish. Drop 1 of them, click on fishing spot, right click fish number 2, and hover over drop, click on drop when you get a new fish, click on fishing spot again, and just continue doing this for as much fishing experience as you need. green9090
Yeah, barbarian fishing is going to be the best regardless of whether you can mousekeys them or not. Quyneax
Only dungeoneering fishing spots are better, but you can't find enough of them per hour to make it worthwhile. If you have to do solo c1s however, you could try c3s and fish everything. benben9992000
low alch barb fishes is quicker than mousekey drop, as alching does not use up any time whilst skilling, (similar to superheat gold ores method). This would be better1. less clicks to drop2. saves your time However, this would mean you have to pay around 220 gp per fish.
