Why hello there people of tip.it land, I've got a simple question for yall.

 

I'm just about to hit 99 atk/str/def which is going to "trim" my hp cape i've got, I remember back in the day you could just drop your cape hit the 99's and pick it back up...do any of yall know if this still works or is there anyway that you can think of that I'd be able to keep my "Untrimmed" Variant of my hp cape.

There is something that lets you keep it. Telegrab it or something. But idk exactly what you are supposed to do.

As far as I know you just drop it, get 99 in other skill, then telegrab the untrimmed cape.

Ok thanks, As far as the legality is concerned if they're really going to take action against my account for something as miniscule as gettin a cape i've already got and keeping it then they've got their priorities completely messed up. They've got far bigger problems then some guy with a trimmed/untrimmed hp cape to worry about ^.^

A friend of mine was banned because of has a trimmed and untrimmed cape however. He had no other black marks. So priorities wrong or not, if you value your account, I wouldn't bother doing it.

Why would you bother anyway? Sure it looks cool, but does it really offer you any other benefit than wowing folks at the GE flashing between your untrim and trim cape?

Surely he had some underlying problem with his account "Bot/rwt" I couldn't imagine Jagex banning him for something that doesn't affect gameplay or give him an advantage in the game in anyway shape or form. That just seems absurd to me. Thank you for giving me a heads up though I appreciate it.

Because the purpose of a skillcape is to look cool, and the untrimmed skillcape arguably looks cooler.

Hah. You might be surprised lol. Anyways, I heard that if you die on an F2P world, get your 99, go back to your grave, telegrab it, it remains untrimmed. If your getting a members-only 99, hop first then hop back quicky :P
