Quite a few people on the RSOF seem to think so as well, I personally think something is up, prior to today I was doing 3/4 Minute QBD kills now struggling to do less then 5min kills while the use of food has almost doubled. I kind of wish they'd quit messing about with the game every couple days and leave it alone... Nex I hear was harder but QBD? IMO it's much easier, getting 3-4 min kills using about 2-3 food max. Yea, I went back today and I'm just going to have to chalk yesterday up to nothing more then bad luck. Seems a tad easier then prior to the update yesterday but of course, it could all just be in my head.

In that reference to not being hacked, It's not like they didn't try a quick google of your user name puts you on about 15 different lists that most people try and snatch from the old days solely based on the creation date

In the not so long past I had one of my lesser accounts gets recovered. It's literally been 6+ weeks of nothing on the side of getting a reply from Jagex on both the official forums and through their billing support e-mail. I've all but given up on ever getting that account back.

I know Starrychelx is still around he's still actively posting on the forums.

No, you misread the news post. They were private as in limited access separated from the rest of RuneScape. You CAN invite other players, but that doesn't mean that's the only way people can reach those areas. Ahhh ok, then I completely misunderstood the whole concept of this hunter update, I thought it was a personalized hunting area only accessible by yourself and those you invite. To me it seems to kind of defeat the purpose of a private hunting area if you'd still have to compete for resources with other players. Thank you for clearing that up for me though.

So, I thought the new hunter areas were instanced without any other interaction from other players unless invited.

I've tried to do it without any armor/weapson/boosts/prayers on the gargoyle task...sounds quite easy until it's attempted all of the npcs have had their attacks and hps as well as max hits scaled up so without any armor and 99 hp not pots/prayer I lasted all of 6 rounds of combat before being Ko'd during that 6 rounds of combat "a round being a punch thrown" all of my hits were 0s/miss

Ahhhh ok, I thought you wanted a visual recording heh. Yea, that's no problem I'll try to make it as accurate as possible I've got a gargoyle task with enough left that I should be able to get 500 hits out of it.

Hedge, I'll give it a shot might you suggest some semi decent recording software

After messing around on the beta during the weekend I was allowed to I'm not so stoked about this update anymore. I went to try out some slayer as it's really the only thing I enjoy anymore the kills well unless you button mashed abilities were so much slower compared to the live version and on top of that I was only getting 9xp/gargoyle. I know these rates aren't set in stone but unless they get a major overhaul on how xp is handled through out the game they're in for a very rude awakening when this goes live.

have you tried out the official client JaGex offers?

Actually one could do this since the beginning of runescape. I know, but it's not as useful now since the lobby was introduced since the world you type in has almost 0 relevance in actually landing in that world on the lobby selection screen. I just used "wolrdxxx.runescape.com" as an example so some people don't think I'm leading them to some illegitimate site.

Or if you don't want to even bother having to mess with the homepage and such you could just go to worldxxx.runescape.com the "xxx" would just be any world like ever since the lobby was added world2.runescape.com would just take you into the lobby so you could click play, prior to that it would take you directly to the w2 login.

It's funny that you post this, I just posted this in the hidden updates thingy. It's what replaced the 6 hour client token failure guess it's a bot fighting thing since they've been able to bypass everything thrown at them so far.

I'll try and post a screenie of it later but the 6 hour client token failure now has a please wait 5 minutes before you try and reload another client.

I've seen many times where the wheel is about to stop on something you want, then at the last second it clicks one more to give you rage-inducing garbage. I've seen 2-3 times where it does the same, only that last second click spins over to a nice prize, then there is another last second click out of nowhere, after a pause that lasts just long enough for me to start getting excited, that brings the rage again. I understand they don't want to give us the rare items, but do they have to tease us like that? Not for nothing but hasn't it been stated and stated again by J-mods time and time again that the animation is just there to look at and serves no other purpose then that? It's in no way shape or form tied into if you'll receive an item or not .

Anyone else ever run across this?
