November 23, 201015 yr Well i am having dilemma standing at the G.e I begun doing slayer, and mostly doing melee the thing is i have about 80m to blow. Here's my problem. I know bandos top and tasset are very ideal for melee slaying the thing is there crashing hard. and i really dont wanna investing in it and lose money you know. or I can buy barrows the thing is it degrades yes you can repair for cheap at my smithing level the thing is the cost adds up eventually right. So simply put in the long run which one is better for permanent slayer gear. I also was thing maybe fighter torso + d legs or something for the time being. any other opinions are welcome thanks again guys and girls
November 23, 201015 yr Bandos is better armour and you should probably get that. Sure it's crashing a little bit, but it's not going into a landslide or anything. If you have bandos, should still have verac's skirt for praying certain tasks. As for the repair costs for barrows, it's so incredibly insignificant that you shouldn't even look at it as a real hindrance. It ends up costing less than 15k an hour to use barrows armour, and that's when you use the full set. Often you'll only be using the body and legs. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement.Also check out my blug
November 23, 201015 yr Just get verac's skirt and any barrows melee top except verac's. Bandos is not that essential. The repair costs are barely noticeable, and you'll definitely make it back slaying. Flip with the 80m. Verac's skirt and either a torso (with sw cape) or proselyte top (with fire cape) will do fine. Get bandos once you have all levels you need. November 23, 201015 yr Barrows repair cost is so low it doesn't matter tbh. But levels are more important than +6 str bonus, so use the money for leveling first.
