so im 88 herblore i want to stew to 92 so i can complete elite seers diaires, and get ee that heals 400lp

but yes anyway

what should i use?

3 brown spices per stew or 2?

as 3 makes it go up by 6 and 2 4 (what i need)

but getting it + 4 using 3 spices must be eaiser than getting +4 using 2?

or am i wrong? haha

also any tips on getting spices? as its fml

I completed Seer's elite in a similar matter.

A) Use 3 spices, you're statistically more likely to get a +4 from 3 spices than from 2 (and using 2-dose stews will lose more spices in the long run too, which we wish to avoid at all costs). Don't forget to bring Greenman's ale or Super restores to nullify potential negative boosts on your Herblore. Either wait 1 minute between drinking or immediately log out after getting a +4, as logging out resets the level reset counter (ie: the counter that gets your stats back to their base by upping/lowering them by 1 every minute).

B) Use an adult cat ideally. It has a 75% catch rate. If it grows to overgrown, take it to the Rat Pits in Port Sarim to upgrade it to a Wily cat, which has an even better catchrate.

If all you have is a kitten... prepare for copious amounts of rage as it'll almost never catch anything. That, or wait out its growing time whilst you do other activities.

Get yourself a Wily Cat. I've caught hundreds of spices, and my wily cat has never failed even once.

Also, 3 spices only. It makes life much easier. Even when going for a +3 boost I use 3 doses.

Yep, wily cats have a 100% catch rate, and use 3 spice. The cat training medal is a diary task anyway, so might as well :P.

Don't. Use. A. Kitten.

Period.

Fairly sure last time I went stew hunting with my wily, it didn't catch them all the time...

Your cat can't always catch them becausee obstacles might be in the way.

Also, and maybe my mind was playing tricks on me as the rats refused to drop orange spice, I've found that the Wily cat CAN fail, as it pounces but does not catch the rat. However, if it does this, it will continue to pursue the rat until it DOES catch it.

Or maybe it was lag/my tired mind. Idk.

Yeah your cat may also pounce multiple times.
