Effigy drops while maxed out?

I have a question to put out there to all you TIF'ers.

 

I recently did about 15 hours of slaying and had 4 effigy drops.

 

Then I decided to use the assist system to help get my herblore up (for free :thumbsup: ) Everyday for the past two weeks at around the same time, I log in and as soon as I am able to give assists I call it out and generally get maxed within 10-15 minutes.

 

Now here's my question: I have since done about 40 hours of slaying and not had one single effigy drop and considering I've had Dark Beasts, Abby Demons and Dust devils amongst the tasks, it seems a bit odd. Do you think that you can get an effigy drop while maxed?

But to answer your initial question - no whether or not your assist is maxed will have zero impact on what drops you are eligible for.

 

If you are slaying (with max stats etc)- it is possible to arrange your block/cancel list so that you receive an effigy, on average, once every 2-2.5 hrs or every ~100k slayer xp.

40 hours of slaying should be around 1.2m slayer xp, so if you haven't got an effigy in that time, you've been extremely unlucky. My longest streak was around 800k slayer xp, with the average droprate around 100k slayer xp per effigy(depending on task list).

10 days on, about four hours at Abby Demons, 200 spritual mages, 160 living rock creatures. Still no effigies :cry:

 

Thing is that in the early days i had four in about two weeks. This dry streak has lasted about six.

 

Anyhows, I shall try and log it in XP per drop, but I'm seriously beginning to think that no drops occur while you're max xp assist.

i have had many drops while maxed, it's got nothing to do with it at all.

Abby Demons are 1/900 or so (4 hours off task at abbys is 200 hr? max)

Spiritual Mages don't drop them

Living Rock creatures are Cb ~130 avg so about 1/800 at a very slow kill rate.

 

This is why you aren't getting any.

 

The 100k slayer xp figure on average is based on killing the 10 best killrate/drop rate slayer tasks available from Kuradel. Not just random tasks.
