Shiny
If you want to see any higher resolutioned ones, just ask me. Those are just directly pasted from facebook. Its butchered the quality, somewhat. Constructive criticism?
Da_Latios
Alright, let's see what we've got here.... First shot - I know what you were trying to capture. The sun through shady leaves, it does indeed look good to the human eye. A lot of why that looks good to use, however, is because of two factors. Firstly, the distance between our eyes and our greater ability for depth perception. And secondly, movement. This kind of picture is just something you cannot capture in a still image. It's not really your fault it didn't turn out great, but just remember next time that this kind of image just doesn't work. Composition-wise, though, at a glance I couldn't tell where the focus was. The whole damn image is green; the foreground blends too much with the background and it becomes very chaotic. Second shot - Tracks aren't really that interesting, brah.Your focal point is too low. Use the golden rectangle with images that have a horizon. Third shot - The first impression I get is that this looks like a still from a movie. The split toning and aspect ratio really do give this image a 'cinematic' look. As far as the focal point goes, you got the composition pretty much spot on. However, the sharp transition from dark to light in the left side of the image is a little distracting. I find my eye being drawn to that area, and it doesn't even have anything to look at. Fourth shot - Probably my favourite of the lot. I find the colours are a little dull though. I find myself referring back to the Fibonacci Spiral again here:Your focus point should rest close to the end of the swirl in a photo like this. Alternatively, the rule of thirds can apply too. I do like the overall mood of the image though. It probably would have looked a little better should the photo have been taken from a slightly higher perspective. This photo probably would also benefit from a bit of HDR. Fifth shot - C-c-c-contrast! Waaay too much contrast. Can't see a bloody thing in the sky, and the trees are so dark Ron Weasley could be sitting in one of them and I wouldn't notice. Don't be afraid to use HDR if you're not going to over-do it. You could use a gradient ND filter or alternatively shoot RAW and use the gradient tool to fix up the sky and/or foreground.Example of mine, done in Lightroom:(It's by no means a good photo; I'm just clearly too lazy to go anywhere other than my veranda to take a photo) IRC Nick: Hiroki | 99 Agility | Max Quest Points | 138 CombatBandos drops: 20 Hilt | 22 Chestplate | 21 Tassets | 14 Boots
Bows
I reaaaalllly like the third one. A lot. Keep up the good work, Felix. :)
Dupin
I also like the water ones, especially the second to last, although I agree your focus is off. I don't know as much about photography as Latios, but it's pretty clear that the dock should be shifted left so as to capture more water and less board. I like the sort of faded tone in the last one, but the way it inhibits detail in some parts is no good.
Shiny
About the HDR: I was just a bit sick of doing it, i've done it for a while now. All of those shots are in RAW, but photoshop refuses to open them. I suppose i'll just have to use Lightroom.
Jeffwilson99
Third one is definitely the best. As someone said, the last two do look a little dull colour wise.
Ouchy
TBH the first two looks like snap shots, and don't really appeal to me.However, the rest are actually really good  My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
