Alternative to DGing in W117

Featured Replies

I'm 71 DG, although that doesn't quite reflect my ability to do the skill, I consider my self decent (at worst) at it, I just haven't trained it much recently.

My problem is though, the people in W117 are... crap. Is there a better place to train at this level?

Same problem man. I know what I'm doing pretty well but W117 just kills me. I complete maybe half of the larges I start with people. Mostly due to rage quits.

Friends is probably your best chance. So I've heard, You can also look on RSOF for midlevel dungeoneering teams.

Yeah friends are probably your best bet at this point.

If you're seriously considering larges all the way, start your own in w117 and key yourself. Of course if you have enough friends with you, you can just large with them.

You may consider yourself decent, but in reality, to get good, you need to learn alot before any good team would take you- make sure you have hood binded(the most important thing), have good understanding of monster weaknesses, have good understanding of gs/ggs, learn how to keep being active and not waste time doing meaningless things(making yourself full armor, for example, instead of fishing/cooking if it's needed) and the sort. Realistically, most of the people on w117 are around your levels of knowledge and are, too, finding their way to better dungeoneering. Only way you can make a real difference at this point is to key yourself(which is very difficult but will reduce the time of dungeons SIGNIFICANTLY if you are good at it).

Yes, key for yourself, that's the only way to get through it.

Also, be prepared to rip your hair out, because people on 117 don't like to listen.

Soloing quick mediums is a better exp rate than terrible w117 larges.
