Which range wep for Dagannoth Kings?

Hey there. I'm getting members back tomorrow and am planning to start Dking again as I enjoy it. At the moment I'm going to solo hybrid Prime + Surpreme, and later solo tribrid once I get overloads. Anyways, I'm wondering what range weapon I should use, and which one worked well from your experiences with it? I'm 99 range/99 defence/89 herblore/on curses/ have a pack yak to bank bones and currently training for frem boots 4.

 

Here are a few I have currently:

 

Magic longbow sighted + Rune arrows?

 

Karil's crossbow + bolt racks?

 

Rune crossbow + diamond (e) bolts?

 

Which of these would perform better considering attacking range which could be useful on prime, attacking power, speed, and the fact I can equip a shield the whole time with the Rune crossbow? Also taking other weapon suggestions if you got them :thumbsup:

Karils has higher dps iirc but higher cost to go with it + lack of a shield (which shouldn't matter too much but bears mentioning). Otherwise Rune cbow.

Well, obvious suggestion, but ccbow would be better than rune c'bow.

how many primes does a handcannon last for? is this an inventory concern?

cannon is doing most of the work

but hand cannon lasts for 2k shots according to xpx

i bring 2 extra every run, never had any problems

depends on your style and whether or not supreme is an issue for you.

 

mlb(s) is good if you use a method that cannot reliably get prime within crossbow range.

 

rcb/ccb is good in general for balance of good dps and moderate range.

 

karil's crossbow has highest dps but low range.
