Bambootsa
I'm going to the Barrows for the first time and I would like to get some help with gear and inv. I haven't done many quests so quest items are basically out of question. I have Torag legs and plate, whip, Dragon defender, Dragon boots, RFD gloves up to mith, SoL and Karil's skirt of those items that I have seen in barrow guides. 3,7m cash to play with. Any help appreciated! Stats in sig.

Guy
Tip.it's barrows guide is fairly comprehensive, have a look through it and then do post if you have any more questions. Bambootsa
I have looked to it and I'm still confused. Mostly having problems with what methods and items should I use. Inventories especially. Helm slot is very tricky.
Quyneax
Do you have access to ancient magics, and are you willing to get level 82 magic first? That would allow you to use the ancients + salamander method pretty well. Otherwise, get 70 prayer and a chaotic (rapier) and melee them all. I don't have access to ancients and I'm not into dungeoneering that much. I would like to get suggestions which are possible with current stats (mil or couple isn't an obstacle in cash though). I don't have access to neit helm just to mention.
Quyneax
Well, I guess straight-up salamandering will be the best then. Wear: Ahrim's top, barrows melee legs and helmet (not Dharok's), any mage boots, mith gloves, black salamander, fury/glory, a mage-boosting ring, mage arena cape. You're pretty low defence though, so you may wish to use dagon'hai robes and a mitre instead, and pray on all brothers. I suggest just going for a high prayer set up with slight bonuses to magic. Prossy or initiate if you have access would work. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug

I find prayer boosting equips a waste of time seeing as you get heavy prayer drain no matter what. I use a melee top and bottom for defense and then i have all other equips focusing on magic attack.I keep my magic attack around -10 and still hit easily.I use a staff of light or slayer staff for slayer dart, staff of light or ancient staff for ancients. Other options are a mix of black salamander and ancients or use the black salamander by itself. But there are so many different ways of doing barrows that its best if you just find a basic setup from a guide or player and then just change it to fit your budget, defense level, mage/melee/range lvl, prayer lvl and your idea of fun. Good luck!
