Nomad...

Well I've failed four times now, and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. My setup is

Void Set

Rune Crossbow with ruby bolts and diamond bolts

Archer Ring

Ava's Accumulator

Unholy book

Amulet of Ranging

Snakeskin boots

Inv Brews to Restores 3:1 ratio, Kyatt with ambush scrolls, and whatever bolts I'm not currently wielding.

using Tortoise until out of supplies stocked with brews and restores, again 3:1 ratio.

I've gotten to his berserker phase once and died cuz I ran out of food. Got to where he healed himself to half and died cuz I let my hp get too low. I've tried the safespot from his 750 and multiphase and I've tried tanking them.

I've noticed the special on my bolts is rarely activating...could I just be unlucky?

Trolling by giving good advice since April 2011.

I would Lose the void And use black d hide instead. With Nez helm if you have.

The Rest of your set up is fine.

I would continue with safe spotting from the pillers.

Make sure when he duplicates himself you prepare yourself restore stats drink a sara brew. free up inventory space. if u dont need to do any of that just rest till he turns into one person again and then atttack. [EE would be useful here if u have it or even reguler Excalibur]

When he bring you to the middle to attack you make sure your hp is above its limit and switch to diamond bolts.

Then run and continue with the piller tatic

Once your TORT is gone summon Kyatt and you could spam its speacil but when i fought it it didnt help much.

Make sure at all times your highest range boots prayer is on. and if you want rapid heal or iron defense etc.

when he goes breserk forget about attacking him with your own weapon spam whatever u have left of sara brews and spam speacil attack on kyatt.

Summon tips : When you have the tort out switch the right click option to TAKE BOB when kyatt is out Switch the right click option to Speacil attack.

Heres a video of the pillar tatic

Void deflector > regular void. It has more defence, more accuracy, just less prayer. Try borrowing an acp and see how it goes. Also try bringing some regular restores and brews in a 4:1 ratio.

Are you using protect from magic? Despite what some people tell you, I still think it helps....

Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.
[spoiler=The rest of my sig. You know you wanna see it.]

my difinition of noob is i dont like u, either u are better then me or u are worst them me

Buying spins make you a bad person...don't do it. It's like buying nukes for North Korea.

Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame:

your article was the equivalent of a circumcized porcupine

The only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it.

I don't have a deflector, if anyone could suggest the fastest way to get the rank/pts to get one great. And yes I've been using my highest range prayer and protect magic.

Any reason I should be using regular restores?

Regular restores restore more, and you don't really need all the prayer from supers. Also, they're cheaper, which is always nice.

I recommend you bring 3-4 super restores with a 3:1 brew:rest ratio, then the rest regular restores with a 4:1 brew rest ratio.

I can also recommend this, I prayed mage and beat nomad on my second try with 10+ brews left. I was in black d'hide with a tort filled with brews and restores in a 3:1 ratio. The only thing to keep in mind is that I have 99 range. Be sure you're running to the far side of the pillar as he can still hit you when you are on the close side(I found this out on my first try about 30 seconds in :wall:) I also used eagle eye the entire time.
