For 85-90, which is faster, cavefish or monks?

I'm almost 85 and, I would like to know XP/H of both monks and cavefish at 85 fishing using granite lobster, thanks :D

I would advice to do rocktail with pies and a yak. Not sure about the speed of cavefish. Also, do fish flingers, it's 17-18k xp in 15 min of work, with 10+ min of it being afkable.

rocktails all day. just cause you have a higher fishing level cavefish are almjost just as slow and alot less exp.

If you want it to be semi-AFK, this is the order of decreasing speed:

 

Barbarian > Shilo > Monks > Cavefish

 

However, the farther alone the list you go the more AFK and the more profitable it gets.

they're both around 30-32k. there's really no significant difference aside from clicks/h (less for cavefish) and that the LRC monsters *can* hurt you.

 

once you get to 86, definitely switch to rocktails with admiral pies. at 86 i was getting 43k xp/h pie-ing.

You should, imo, get 86 fishing either on Fish Flings or by barbarian fishing. Then afk your way, if that's your thing.
