ThatAZNKid
I'm trying to get one from my local store. How do they work?Do you have to pay bills with it?Is there a monthly fee?If there is a monthly fee, what do you do when you are done with the card? Can you use it on paypal?Does it require a bank account?Say I have 90 dollars cash, and I buy it, how much would go onto it? Lol hella questions. Thanks guys.
kingmickez25
I think its easier to buy a greendot card. but that just me. Basically its like a gift card. You buy it and load it with money im assuming you pay what the card cost and what your gonna put in it for example You have $90 card cost 5 so when u load it your gonna have 85 on the card for your use. You can use it like a debit card online purchses, buying in stores whatever. when the money is all gone you just go back to any store and refill it. Some cards however do make u pay a fee for refilling it. Thats why i advice u to go with greendot if its avilable hope i helped Edit: Paypal i think makes u have a backaccount behind any card you use for verifcation now a days so i doubht u can use it for that but most things let u pay with a credit card directly

Mr_Adam
It's pretty much a gift card to any place that takes a Visa credit/debit card. Yep. They're hella useful though. You can use it in the same way you would a credit card - online or in-store. You can fill it up at a store (mine's from AAA), with a small activation fee. The only real con is that you can't find out how much is on your card. If you don't have enough for a purchase, it will be rejected. Just make sure there isn't any fine print that will screw you over. I know there's an inactivity fee, but you can easily exchange the card for equal cash. obfuscator
It's a gift card that you use like a credit card. You buy it at the store, put a certain amount of cash on it, and that's it. No further fees, or bills, or anything. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti

No further fees, or bills, or anything. This. It's useful for a wide variety of things like buying things online where you don't necessarily have a credit card handy.
