January 5, 201115 yr I'll just be straight to the point: I want to go chinning soon at Ape Atoll. I'm gonna use sacred clay armour (coif or chaps) to get double exp. The setups are: - Sacred clay chaps, elite void body, void ranger helm, void gloves, void deflector OR - Sacred clay coif, armadyl top, armadyl legs, barrows gloves, unholy book (The rest is same for both sets) I thought void would be best but my ranged bonus won't be too high and the 15% effect might not be worth it, but the other set is pretty expensive though. Post what u think below please!
January 5, 201115 yr Void Range is 20%. I am assuming you already have the sacred clay items? Wearing just 1 at a time will allow you to only get 25k xp or so, before needing to replace or recharge. So for one hour of chinning at ape atoll, you would need 12 pieces (Bear in mind the additional inventory items such as prayer pots and the like) If you haven't already gotten the SC points/items then I would strongly recommend not bothering as even though it provides 25k extra experience, you will also be getting less XP per chin due to gimp range gear. http://www.[Caution! January 5, 201115 yr If you have to use a piece of sc gear, go with the top. Always use void, too. But as Vex said, it's not really worth it. Just use an armadyl chestplate with void deflector, and get ranger's boots if you can. January 5, 201115 yr You need to play like 2 hours of (fast) SC to get enough gear for an hour's worth of chinning. Doesn't sound good to me, but alright. If you have to, void deflector, max range attack with that (except cape, use sw cape), and clay top.
