GlowinRedM
Alright, I just wanted to see if meleeing Nomad would be a viable option for me? Nifflin
I ranged him at 90 range and it was easy. It makes using the pillar to hide from all his damaging attacks really simple. Even at your levels I think range would be easier. I would use defelctor void + arma body. Rune xbow and ruby (e) + rune bolts. As for inventory just go 3 brews for every super restore. Pot up at the bank, but unless you have overloads there isn't so much of a point in repotting. Also for a ring, use recoil. I also suggest to use the kyatt method when he berserks. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying. gspbeetle
We used to do it with a crappy zammy spear only, should be easier now with chaotic stuff. Inventory should be just saradomin brews and normal restores. Turn sap mage on and you can forget about prayer. Your summoning and magic levels are quite low, try getting at least a tort and 80 mage (if you want to get them anyway, now is the time). Also, don't bother with curses unless you got soul split and turmoil (if meleeing). He pack quite a lot of defence with him, I dont see how draining 10% of his magic and defence would be a worse idea than Piety which doesnt last after you run out of prayer. Examine ChenGMT (level: 138)
Quyneax
Rapier, elite void melee w/ deflector or ddefender (depends on whether you want defence or accuracy), fury and such, or ranging as Nifflin said, though I'd bring diamond bolts instead of rune. You can bring normal restores instead of super, as they are both cheaper and restore more lost stats (1:4 instead of 1:3 with brews). This allows you to take 1-2 more brews. Your summoning and magic levels are quite low, try getting at least a tort and 80 mage (if you want to get them anyway, now is the time). Also, don't bother with curses unless you got soul split and turmoil (if meleeing). I highly recommend investing in either an archer's or berserker ring and armadyl chestplate, ranger's boots or fury. GlowinRedM
Alright thanks :) Finishing the void quest line was next on my list before Nomad, so the 80 mage is obviously up. And when I have the cash for seconds I'll definitely be getting at least a tort. Were you suggesting using arma plate for meleeing or? The corp beast, is, well, just a corp beast. TRangers90
Read this if you're simply trying to beat Nomad, do NOT if you're just going to melee for the challenge of it: If you're worried about Nomad, I just beat him yesterday quite easily. I know you're looking for a Melee approach (due to your title) but I would seriously consider looking at this: I was looking at other video guides about melee because I was highly considering it but after looking at a few videos I thought I should stay away from that frenzy and opt for an easier solution (Ranged). I used this guide almost exclusively after seeing how easy it was to beat him. [i made a couple changes just to make it even easier: 3 Super restores to keep prayer a non-issue, and taking my EEE as I wanted to take advantage of my Special Bar.] I hope this helps and if it doesn't I wish you the best of luck Meleeing. :)
