Dragon bones or frost bones?

Getting 95 prayer, and I was thinking about what would be a better option (time wise);

 

Making the extra money needed to use frost bones while having to altar alot less... (10,000 Frost Bones)

or

Spending less money, and just end up altaring more dragon bones... (27,000 Dragon Bones)

 

Currently, I'm doing frosts for about 1.5m an hour for cash if it matters.

Question...y are you burying them? using them on someone elses POH guilded alter is tons more xp and tons less time. That being said personally i perfer to do FDB over DB because they not only save tons more time but the time you save on using FBD you can spend making the extra money used back.

Lol, well like i said time saved using frost bones will allow you to make most if not all the extra money you use on the bones back.

If you multitask or split your screen in half, altering is extremely easy and doesn't require many inputs. So you can work/read/study/watch/browse while you do it.

 

However if you find yourself only playing Runescape, when, well playing runescape, then if you have the ability to earn equal or similar income to frost dragons, then you'd be better off doing frost dragon bones.

In order to get 95, I'd need to bury either 10,700 frost dragon bones or 27,000 dragon bones according to tip.its calculator

 

Doing frost bones would cost ~155M

Doing dragon bones would cost ~120M

Well can you make 35m in the ~14 hrs it takes to altar 17k bones?

If the stuff in the spreadsheets is right you can do about 1300 bones/h (I don't know what BoB you're using). So about 8 hrs with frost bones, and 21 hours with dragon bones. So if you can make 35M in 13 hours (~2.7M/h) then you should use frosts, otherwise you use dragon bones. You make 1.5M/h so dragon bones is the way to go. In fact you should also consider babydragon bones and do the math for them.

Babydragon bones cost 20m more and would take 3x as long to altar as dragon bones, so at least with current prices they aren't worth it.
