why do people really care about scarves and hats

Maybe because sometimes people want to have fun on a game instead of just playing for money or skills every second of their online time? There's only one chance to ever get any of these items, but you can always replace them afterwards... use up the 20 minutes and get something you'll never have a chance to get again.

Nobody is forcing you to do the events...

Although I daresay you would be banging your head against the wall after a few months of discontinued-event-items-free Runescape account.

Why do you resist? My experiments are only helping humanity push the boundaries of the Art of Toxicology... you should be proud to be one of my victims.

WHY do ppl make topics like this, complain to yourself.

There are some ppl who still believe in playing games for fun. I myself did not like all the rewards but loved the White scarf and hat which i wear while training. It is all part of the christmas spirit. If u dont like it dont talk about it.

This is an useless topic, because you expect us to agree.

The reason?

Well, it's Christmas. Keep the spirit alive by making presents and help the elves. Allright, it's maybe a bit childish but the update is a great initiative from JAGeX.

Why we care about the ' stupid ' scarves and hats?

I've said it in another -similar  - topic, if you got those items, you can proof to players who joined RS after the update you've been playing for a long(er) time now. It's a sign from when you've been playing, like the zombie heads, scythes and bunny ears.

I'd like to bet you'll be the first one to make a topic about the fact that you didn't get those items and that you find it dishonest.

So please, stop making topics that lead us nowhere, you can spend your time on much usefuller things...

I love the hats and scarfs. It was the first time I decided to do/get the holiday event, and i thought it was fun. If you don't like them, too bad.

Who cares if you wear a santa hat..... That's no achievment.

Who cares if you can have 520M, if you have no friends, as well as no reason to play Runescape?

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to all.

Enjoy the hats & scarves because I like to wear dorkie looking hats - think they're neat. Sometimes I just wear the cook's hat instead of a helmet - makes me smile. Plus then I get fashion advice from younger players (usually girls) who think I look nutso. They're not being mean - just really into fashion, I guess.

Thank you, Runescape for the Christmas gift and tree.

Why, I alway thought Scrooge was a fictional character, but, oh!, here you are!

Did you ever have any Christmas spirit?

Did you ever consider that people might consider it fun?

Did you ever think that RS is made to have fun?

Did you ever think that I'm asking too many questions?

There is my opinion. Disagree with it? If so, go jump off a cliff. Or if you want to settle this in a more peacable way, contact me via private message. Thank you.
