Ezkaton
Well now after getting 96 summoning I'm wondering what I should do for the last 3 levels. Should I still collect golds and greens even though when I did them for 96 [/wrists] following the mentality that all charms are exp? Or should I just do blues and crims? Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.2672nd person to reach 2496 total. Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D
Saradomin_Mage
Aren't both options you mentioned the same?I'd still collect charms, but that's my pack-ratty RSC nature. (I collect thread from Gargoyles, lulz) In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
BloodAngel
Personally I'd suggest not bothering with golds and greens, as you pointed out it's a pretty tedious process turning them into pouches and they don't give much in the way of xp. Sy_Accursed
Personally I'd go for crims as they are the best xp charm thts easy to get enmass. But if you have golds and greens dropped I wouldn;t ignore them. Even if you don;t use them to train at some point you prob use em to make some useful pouches. DarkDude
I personally only collect red and blues although pick up greens from things like metal dragons as they can be useful for things like unicorns and scrolls.
Ivoos_
Depends on how badly you want 99, we can't answer this for you...I'm 96 and want 99 asap, so I'm doing all of the charms. If you don't want to run golds and greens then don't and wait a bit longer for 99. http://www.tip.it/runescape/?herb^^ A herblore cost/xp calculator. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Cleaning herbs has the values switched at the moment, but the fix has been submitted.
Dragondan_Ro
I suggest that if it is really a pain, don't bother with gold or greens. Or at least drop the green charms, they have a horrible exp/gp ratio anyway. Give a man a lighter, and he will be warm for a while.Set a man on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life. Legionwizard
You're better of concentrating on crimson charms, stocking up on blues is a nice add-on but you shouldn't give priority to them (kinda rare and expensive exp anyway). I mainly stayed the slayer course but spend my triple charm runs at ct wf's using an iron titan, they allow for around 300 charms (bit less if pure voiding instead of slayer task, and I don't have access to ss and turm yet). Using effigies is a good idea as well, think at 98 summ, it'll be give you around 60k exp.
