Regi
I recently started farming torstol, since I have heard that torstol is supposed to be massive profit with Scroll of Life and Jujus, and the xp is great. However, in my 34 patches harvested so far, I'm running at a loss of over 900k and haven't even gotten a herb seed back. Were torstol struck hard by the herb crash, or am I just unlucky? Should I switch back to lantadyme?
Bladewing
just checking... are you using juju? because without it you aren't going to profit much, if at all How to Chin Nechyraels for fast XP and profit
Regi
I use both jujus and scroll of life, so according to theory, I should profit.
manitstinks
Probably luck. If you still don't profit, switch back to whatever herbs you have been doing
Quyneax
34 patches farmed is pretty unlucky, but it happens. Make sure your juju doesn't wear off, use supercompost, use secateurs. Regi
According to Grimy's farm sheet, lantadymes (which I used to do) are only a little bit less profit and xp, but much more reliable and not 310k per seed. I think I'm gonna switch back to lantas for now.
zotto
I think the torstol market is a bit fragile right now. Seeds are quite high priced at the moment, while torstol herbs are going for a lowish price. I stopped farming torstols for a while.
bedman
While torstols aren't as good as they were right now, they're still great profit. Logged out yesterday at trollheim after a trip, and did the second trip today => 1.1m profit in 8 minutes. (thought I admit, when prices where better, that would have been easily 1.5).
