Yeah start with f2p first do a relativly zoomed in it will be a HUGE image as in over 10,000 x resolution.......We could have it in pieces and on the site someone can write a program on how to move the map left or right and zoom in in real time. (i know someone on the forums can do it, i might if i ever have time)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also we should vote on like the top 3-6 pixelers that will decided wha gets put in and what doesn't, they decide if its good enough or the same style as everything else. They can also be in charge of putting it together and making sure everything fits and is proper size. If we do vote vote pixlers who are here a lot or mot of he time

I think the only thing that's worthwhile to pixel is the cities and maybe a few special locations, pixeling the whole thing is just a waste of time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Maybe something like this... with the normal rs map(not a pixel one) and have the city icons link to the iso. pixels of the same place.

i think all should have the chance but only best accepted, and we have to agree whether they can use PS, because antialiasing etc. will look odd with pure paint pictures up there..... and i say we start at the very north/east/west/south then move forward, or do one sity at a time, using map north and isometric

I nearly fainted when I saw some use my name in a list of 6 gd people. Its like a first, but I can see what you mean about others who are better, but also the point about thoose who are still frequently active is true.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

everytime people go for the 'gd pixeller's all thoose names get dragged out when many don't post here at all now or only appear every month or 2, whihc I think is fair reason for nothing having them in tht suggest six (because of course I ain't biased in anyway)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And as for someone saying about it being really big for imageshack etc. I got 250 odd megabytes of my own webspace sitting doing nothing, I'd gladly host it for you guys, if it was needed

Seriously I agree, and also if you guys realize. There pixel talent at making signatures has no reflection what so ever on there ability to do isometric's. It's a completely different concept which some people cannot grasp for some reason.

i agree with everything about givign everyone a chance because i believe with the help of a certain team like, terly , adius_omega , Mxm , ect. studying there work and looking at multiple tutorials for iso's, i think i can manage just fine i hope they can come on enough and often enough to be the team becuase of course if we are going to take this seriously most of the people like mentioned earlier in this post are pixelers so we will need to clear our scheduels for customs for a while after all we want this to be the best city of all

I'm eager to see this started. Should we decide on the judges and someone to make the map of whatever city we decide to make? And to keep it the same scale, some appropriate sizes?
