Dungeoneering

Featured Replies

Okay so I want that chaotic rapier! (access to frost dragons wouldnt hurt either! :P)

What should my strategy be for getting these levels?

I've gotten to floor 19 and I prestiged for some reason and now I'm at floor 18.

I did floor 18 c6 small and it took 20 minutes... 2062 xp from that one :wall:

Any estimates on how many hours this will take?

First thing is to get a team. If you can't find one on w117, try asking your friends. In fact, ask your friends/clan members FIRST.

I've been looking for the same thing....haven't found it yet though. Good luck though, considering how boring this mini-game....I mean skill is.

As I just said on the other thread, 60-80 took me about 2 weeks doing nothing but dungeoneering, but I will admit it was during my winter break, so I did play a fair bit, but its entirely possibly in a few weeks of playing a few hours a day. Be sure to use 117 and do lots of larges, and to properly c1 floors, reset, and bind a SSH and a Prom 2H with beserker ring.

first:

Read the guides on AOW about dungeoneering, there are multiple, and all are quality.

Then: find a friend who plays the same hours as you, around your level, and duo with him

Afterwards: work on speed, any dungeon, barring difficult meds and larges, should not take a significant amount of time.

As for time, the more you educate yourself, the more the knowledge will pay you dividends in dungeons, especially because of your low combat level and skill total.

Start with that

Also, at your experience, c6 1-14, then do mediums. This should work into the 20's and so on, until you grasp enough of the skill to do larges 5:5

LAST AND MOST IMPORTANT THING.

LEARN TO KEY

Goodluck

You would first try to get 50 dg for a second bind. Do this through Tears of Guthix or something.

When you have two binds you can have a weapon and a defensive item, which doesn't matter much on solos (as you get weaker opponents) but it helps a ton on floors with many people.

You should first do all floors you have the level for as fast as possible. Then you reset, and do the lowest 15 c1 small rush with as many friends/people as you can get (important). You should now have 16-25 open (at level 50). You want to do those as medium or large floors. Having lots of people will increase your xp as well, so make sure to get your friends together. After these 10 floors you should be level 51 or even 53, so you might have unlocked 26 and 27 as well. Do these as mediums/larges as well. Once you have done all floors (having unlocked no new ones) you reset again and repeat this system of small rushes and large xp floors. Usually people do the last 10 floors large, until they have 40+ prestige, at which point they only rush the first 30 floors.

ok sounds good. i did c1 smalls all the way to 25 then prestiged. is that good (25 is the highest i can get to).

For now it'll do, because it means you now have your maximum prestige. Next you want to do some larger floors on higher floors.

If there is a groups of you interested, i wouldn't mind guiding you through a few smalls/meds to give you an idea of what pace to shoot for. I think this would offer a better understanding than if we sit here and try to explain tactics in type.

okay so I binded a gorg 2h, upgraded berserker ring twice (should I doit all the way?)

binded argonite platebody and I have 50 laws bound as well.

My prestige floor is 25, and I'm on 25 atm. WHen I do 26, should I do it c6 small rush? or large with 5 other players? (i can reach floor 28 i believe)
