December 23, 200520 yr For a moment there I thought the 4 Xs were implying "Porn of the dead". But I have to agree, the earlier films are great. They're B-movie-ish, which I like in a horror movie. In a strange way, it makes it more believable. In some big budget horrors recently, like the Exorcism of what'sherface, I just can't get into the movie because I think: "Oo, nice/crap effects" This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

Regarding errors ... I don't remember the movie very well. Although I do intend to hire it out at some stage. I remember a few scenes, like, the zombie priest and the hall of bodies there, then the apartment in the multistory complex, and the house in what looked like the Hamptons, and the infected black guy who they'd managed to tie up, and the father of the girl getting infected through his eye or something? I dunno, sorry.
December 24, 200520 yr Author 28 days was my first zombie horror movie and i quite liked taht style... Dawn of the dead was full of insane things that didnt made a logical completion. January 2, 200620 yr i only saw Dawn of the Dead. The remake though. it was ok. It entertained me for a while at least. I'm not a real fan of zombie movies though. whats "FTW" mean?

January 4, 200620 yr Um, the remake for Dawn of the Dead was a disappointment, 28 Days Later isn't a zombie movie and not George Romeros' work and Land of the Dead was decent, but kinda trailed off from zombie horror and it was more action than horror, but I'm a huge fan of Romeros' earlier films, and the original Dawn of the Dead was the best of them all. Absolutly amazing movies that man has made.
January 4, 200620 yr In George Romeros universe the zombies are much slower and sluggish, more the clicḫ̩̉̉ zombie unlike the ones in the remake and 28 days later. Romero has clearly stated that he doesnt like the strong and fast type zombies because rigor mortis would'nt allow them to be like that. Just bought Resident Evil last week, have to watch that soon.
