Unicorn Stallion Healing...

Is the Spirit Cape Dungeoneering reward worth buying now that it affects Unicorn Stallion scrolls? What does it actually do, exactly?

How much do scrolls heal with 99HP?

Where do Torva, Virtus, and Pernix come into this??

I couldn't name where, but I heard that you can drastically increase your survivability WITHOUT the new armors with the cape, uni, and scrolls...

Spirit cape changes the cost for uni scrolls from 20 special points to 16 special points.

Scrolls heal 148 with 99 constitution and 990 hp.

Scrolls heal 15% of your max hp, so if it is increased by torva/virtus/pernix, then the healing increases proportionately as well.

I believe the cape lowers the amount of special bar that the scrolls use up but im not sure by how much.

at 99 hp the scrolls will heal approximatly 149 hp per use (990*.15 = 148.5 lp per scroll)

not sure on the last question but i would assume if it increases ur total hp assuming ur using full torva by 400 totallying ur hp from 990 to 1390 so they would heal 208.5 or 209 rounded up.

The spirit cape effect would be worth the 48k tokens, except that you have to give up a soul wars cape to wear it. So if you were using, say, elite void, fury and divine, you'd have 16 prayer bonus and still be able to use the cape. Without such a prayer bonus I think it wouldn't be worth it (since prayer is a big factor in how long you can stay at places).

If you don't mind the micromanagement you could bring sw cape and spirit cape, equipping the spirit cape only when scrolling. You'd lose an inventory space but the supplies saved would obviously be more than that 1 slot.

Edit: KB states it's a 20% cost reduction, which is indeed very significant.

So, without cape or torva, you can heal 222 lp per minute with unicorn, neglecting the first 3 scrolls.

With both spirit cape and torva, you can heal 393 lp per minute, again neglecting the first 3 scrolls.

That seems pretty damn significant to me. Would love to see someone using this.

With just sprit cape (no torva), you go up from 1.5 specs per minute to 1.875 specs per minute (if you always use a scroll before you "waste" your special bar by letting it sit at full - this is why you rarely get the theoretical max at places where you don't take consistent damage). This means that with just spirit cape, unicorn heals 277 lp per minute.

Pretty good, but it is at the cost of a better cape (sw or fire).

Keep in mind that these figures are based on the fact that Runescape always rounds down to the nearest integer, and that summing special bar restores at 15 points per 30 seconds.
