January 25, 201115 yr Because it is proven to make an average profit of 2k per chest, it is still indeed gambling, but gambling with positive expected value.Your decision to sell them should be based on the fact that you can make more money than 20k(10 keys per trip) in time it takes to run to the chest, loot them and bank them. Not on the fact that you don't want to gamble.

January 25, 201115 yr Use'm....crystal keys are an oddity in runescape, in that they're the only thing that closely resembles an actual/functional slot machine. Even if you lose, just think of all the glories you'll be able to make....you'll be set for edgeville teleports for the next year...
January 25, 201115 yr ok i say use them because you get a d stone to cut and to make something out of for xp also you might get a half a key back and or rune bars for smithing. thats what i would do. <-----if the chest gives them to you its random though. might get food or other gems with it. if you get a half a key back on one chest and a few chests later you get the other half then you can get another chance at the chest
