How many push-ups can you do?

Featured Replies

Not timed, and without ever resting on the ground, i did 120 pushups today in a row in basketball earlier this month. Looking at me you would never think it possible, but more than meets the eye.

Wow, either everyone here is really light, or I'm a lot weaker than I already thought I was.

I can only get about 20 :(

I can get into the low 40's. I swim, so that really helps with arm stregnth.

Yeah that was my new years resolution of the past year, and I'm still not in shape...

But maybe I'm going to the fitness or something just to get some muscles :D ,that would be a good new year resolution

But on topic I think I can do around 30 if I'm in a good mood :D

Am I the only one who thinks 50 or 60 pushups is pretty good?

Let's just say I can do between 20 and 40.....

21, maybe?

My excuse is that I'm really lanky. Push-ups are harder with really long arms

Ask me about pull-ups 8)

Hey, I know how you feel, i was 5' 10" in seventh grade, or maybe earlier. I could do like 38.

Solving the confusion once and for all

i never really do pushups unless i have my football gear on.. my coach expects us to run 2 miles do 40 pushups then do beginning drills then we start the plays then we do the hill run and the loop each day at practaice.. after practice i am pooped.. although few actually make the last run the loop which is i think 5 miles not quite sure on that one though

i dont do regular push-ups i just do the ones that will really build your muscle...arms closest to your body. I can only do at best 30 of these...but they are not typical push-ups i geuss

Just tried when reading, im a bit dissapointed;

Managed to do 47, Wich seems to be bad in avarage here.

*Sigh* :(
