Meleeing Jad

Got a jad task, want to melee as it is 2x faster then range. Never had a fire cape before and hope to change that. Does this set up look alright? Stats in Sig but I havent got many other choices for armour, no this is it actually :P. Could Change invy a lot and range is for 360's incase I get owned bad.

 

 

Also off topic I am using a mac and why do I have the black mini-map? Making dung a lot harder and I used to key 40 min dungs, now 1 hour min.

You're obviously not going to use the Fero, right?

 

I never did Fight Caves melee without Soul Split before, but personally I'd recommend you try to get a Bandos Chestplate. Much better than Verac's.

5mil cash I'd rather not spend, and yeah that was from last task :0 I have torag's plate as well as an obby shield :P I'm pretty poor dced at ska risking 20 mil and timer was gone :(

Unless you really need those extra super restores for prayer, I would replace them with regular restores.

 

Super restore:Brew ratio is 1:3

 

Regular restore:Brew ratio is 1:4

 

Making regular restores more efficient if all you need is the healing.

rune x bow 1k broad bolts (incase i miss judged magers attk and got owned)

i would say you have too many p pots

 

and also using supers while using sara bews is kinda a watse imo as you willd rink supers get 118 stats (if 99)

then aah you get hit sara bew lowers it then you just wated it

 

so thats why i didnt use sara bews

 

 

when your at jad i keept mage prayer on and pietied and i hit constantly jad hit once with range but i had sharks to cover that (easy way to heal is to run under him then he cant attack while you heal)

ok, ill go get some regular restores i guess. Also would i be able to out kill the healers or would i need to trap them and tank them etc.

oh and what should i pray on? range on 90's, melee 180 and melee 360. and has jad's mage attack been changed as someone said it has

Get a fury.

You can borrow bcp :thumbup:.

 

You pray soul split on the 90s and 180s if you have it, so without I guess you use prot range and melee respectively. On the 360s you pray mage. On Jad you pray mage.

The mini-map is a bug caused by a driver update from apple. See the runescape technical forum on the runescape official forums.

 

You can see the mini-map if you switch your graphic setting to software mode (which looks ugly... so I am stuck with the black mini-map which is frustrating...)
