88-96 Summoning

I want to get 88-96 Summoning for the awesome Yak ofcourse, I would do this by barraging Rock Lobsters (is barrage even the best option?)

 

A few questions

 

1) Howmuch would it cost approximately?

2) Would this get me 97-99 mage? (Obvious question is obvious)

3) Does anyone have a set-up?

4) Are SOL and Brobes worth using/the cost?

 

I guess that's around it..

170 crimsons per 600 casts bursting =600 k per hour at ~ 1 k per cast. With battle robes and an sol this will be lower. Take the number of crimsons you need for 96. Divide that number by 170. Multiply that number by 600 k. There's your approximate cost.

 

I believe that number is ~220 per 600 casts barraging. Figure out the cost per cast and do the same math as above.

 

I would say yes you should get 99 mage.

 

Yes someone has a setup.

 

SoL yes, Battle robes if you're frugal on money or have them convenient.

Waterfiends would gain u profit (50-100k with Cmaul repair cost) and an actual 150 crim charms an hour at AC with best equipement/stats that is.

 

Best way imo, but if u really want 99 mage, barrage rock lobs till u are shouldn't take u long than switch to wfs. :)

From 95 summoning onwards it really isn't worth it to use battle robes (if you use them you value your time low enough that ct fiends become better).

 

I would barrage to 99 magic with or without battle robes depending on how much you like Fist of Guthix - if you hate it, don't bother. Finish off with AC fiends (until 95) then CT fiends with iron titan + scrolls.

 

If you want ranged xp, cannon black demons. It's like bursting but for ranged, and also very fast effigies. Rock lobsters drop no effigies at all - that somewhat reduces the value of them.

 

Use familarization, preferably on a waterfiend/black demon task but off task works also.
