ForsakenMage
I'm not photoshop pro, but I'm slowly moving along... >.> Need some help... Right now I'm working on a desktop image but am indecisive on the border. #1: #2: #3: Which one should I use? Note: This is a traditional Chinese border that you can find on the red envelopes for example. This image is NOT complete yet as I still need to work on adding some things (hunting for a good reference picture of a Chinese compass, and I don't mean the ones they use for Feng Shui :|). EDIT: Fixed. Sorry about the hyper links. Adventurer's Log || YouTube || Facebook || Tip.it Times Work || Wanna Join the Editorial Panel?Maxed Out 01 October 2012 PDT

apinagez
I don't know if it would be "fengshuishly" acceptable, but I think a dark red border would look nicer than any of those :) Just a sugestion though.. Did you write the chinese symbols yourself? ^The most disturbing signature on Tip.it^Last.fm|HELLY KAYLA!|Oh the mehagurtz!|#Siencemakers"they care less about their spelling mistakes then I." - Lionheart"apinagez... let me
Random
The chinese words seems a bit too clean to me, I think it would fit better if you use more artsy styles, anyway I don't know how to describe this, I mean the style when doing Calligraphy. Hope this makes sense to you.

Did you write the chinese symbols yourself? Not aiming for the Feng Shui feeling because I have not studied that well enough to understand it. :( Will try to use a dark red border to see how that works. The Chinese characters come from a Chinese word processor I use called "NJ Star" and was copied over onto Photoshop. I only have a mouse or I'd just use a drawing pad for the characters myself. (Although my Chinese writing is dreadful lol.) Alduron
I like Number 2 the best... :) It just seems to flow the best with the theme you are doing. Alduron

vmser
Number 3 for its simplicity... No need to overdo it color-wise.
