February 21, 201115 yr 1) I was at the skeleton monkeys earlier today (the ones for chinning), trying to train att/str/def, and I randomly got poisoned and started losing massive amounts of lp. Can someone explain what happened? My prayers did not run out. 2) At those monkeys, I was getting 125k combat experience (+42k hp experience) an hour. At zombie monkeys, I managed 109k and 36k, respectively. Are there any faster methods of training combat stats? I tried AZs, but they were very slow by comparison... What is exp like at LRCs? Thanks!

February 21, 201115 yr The poison is from the nastly little spiders - you can barely see them but it hurts :P. The xp is similar to AZs and LRC. I would not recommend doing monkeys, instead try an effigy/charm dropper. If you do waterfiends (80k xp/hr) or black demons (100k xp/hr + cannon xp) or something like that, you'll get 99 summoning as well. February 21, 201115 yr 1) The tiny spiders there are poisonous. 2) Where you using salve amulet on zombie monkeys? Can't see them being slower than the large ones. I was doing a slayer task of living rock creatures earlier and was getting 180k combat experience per hour, but that is of course with the slayer helm.However, it seems to me that the living rock creatures have slightly higher slash defence than stab, so without a rapier I don't think they would be quite as good. EDIT: I will agree that black demons would be a good choice now with effigies. Don't see the point in having a cannon going also if you don't want range experience - however this means slower effigies too.
