Tansuo
Hey, thanks for looking here first of all.I'm stuck. I've played runescape for a couple of years now, just drifted by and not really done a huge deal and now I really wanna do something good. I recently got into questing majorly and as a result have attained the quest cape, which to this point remains my highest achievement in the game. But now that all the quests are complete, im kind of struggling for something else to do. I have decent stats and have an okay bank, but to feel like I can really progress further I need money. My current set up for day to day slaying and other activities etc is:Full slay helm/neitgloryfighters torsobandos tassetsdbootsbarrows gloves/ cb bracenomads cape/ quest cape.blessed spirit shield and my stats are: Now as you can see, my defence stat out weighs my other two melee combat stats, and a couple of people have suggested that I start staking as i could "troll" everyone who has done the opposite to me and trained their attack or strength levels high. Would this be possible? If so, what should I use? I also do farm runs every day and dailies/weeklies such as MTK etc. But yeah, what I really need is money and a set goal. Any ideas? | | | A Blog to Bathtubs for BeginnersQuest Cape | 99 Defence Achieved 11-Jul-2011 17:41 | 99 Prayer 11-Jul-2012 | 99 Constitution 02-Aug-201299 Attack 31/10/2012 | 99 Dungeoneering 31/10/2012 | 99 Strength 31/10/2012 | 99 Magic 2/12/201299 Range 16/12/2012 | 99 Herblore 25/12/2012 | 99 Summoning 4/1/2013 | 99 Firemaking 6/3/201399 Farming 10/4/2013 | 99 Slayer 11/7/2013 | 99 Fletching 21/8/2013 | 99 Smithing 22/8/2013 99 Crafting 19/12/2013 | 99 Cooking 15/1/2014 | 99 Agility 25/1/2014 | 99 Thieving 01/02/201499 Construction 21/04/2014 | 99 Woodcutting 04/03/2014 | 99 Fishing 17/04/2014 | 99 Mining 23/07/201599 Divination 27/07/2015 | 99 Runecrafting 20/08/2015 | 99 Hunter 20/08/2015 | Maxed 20/08/2015
JPMC Mate
What you are doing for $ is exactly what you should be doing. As for goals, you could aim to get 90 all Melee, Ranged, and 94 Magic, Herblore level for Extremes, Summoning level for Uni/Yak, and 95 Prayer for Turmoil. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.

JPMC Mate
If it feels slow, try adding more main money making ways and alternate between them. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? notasoupbowl
Vary things up, training the same skill for a long time is boring and slow. I really like dng personally, and all my skill goals are based off it. Compete against others, join a clan if you haven't. Have some goals. It's depressing if you think "oh I need 200m" for something. Switch between earning money, slaying, skilling, and dnging.

I personally don't pvp in this game anymore. But it's something to do to have fun if you enjoy it.Just understand if you lose some cash and want to break your self limits, that you're more likely to get cleaned. Personally I think you should never stake more than 5% of your bank at a time. If you make yourself go and earn however much money you lose every time you get down overall you'll probably be fine. Quyneax
Sell your tassets and get a fury. Also, a high defence level without high attack/strength levels really won't help you in combat. Troll Bomber
Join a clan that generalizes in just doing a little of everything. Like a previous poster said, it makes things a little more fun when you are competing (whether it be friendly or serious) to gain a certain lvl or item or w/e. Clans are good for this. If you're going to be doing slayer you should go for a chaotic weapon early on. I waited until 134 combat/95 slayer to start dunging and get my rapier, because I thought it would take months of dunging, but only took me 2 weeks from 55 dung to 85. Again though if you despise dung like some then don't bother. I know I at least felt that way until I tried it seriously and it actually became pretty fun; you'll be glad you got a chaotic. Mix that wiith some herb runs and a few other rs chores like bstaves and MTK and you've got a mix of sanity from not grinding and profit to help out when slayer hits a dry streak :D

Also, a high defence level without high attack/strength levels really won't help you in combat. this. why combat brace? for slayer i assume. dont. slayer gem takes up one invt spot which is never really needed. sell blessed spirit shield lol. its garbage. dragon defender It's great you know what you're talking about rustiod. Everything you've said is 100% accurate a true. That being said...your a [bleep]ing [bleep] douchebag, and none of your advice will ever (or should ever) be taken seriously because of it.disregard good advice because the giver is a douche THAT MAKES YOU A BETTER PERSON
