Cast Fire Wave. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous. Winarr
If you plan on camping, use the brimhaven resource dungeon (so you can smith the rune bar drops into alchs or use the steel bars for knives). Aim to maximize your damage per spell, so: Staff of lightDungeoneering Neck (higher the better) Slayer dart/Claws of Guthix (with PC mace)/Highest Fire spell Personally I only kill these while on task, so using above with Full slayer helm/ferocious ring and slayer dart results in quick cheapish kills. Cheefoo
At 99 magic, using fire surge on steel dragons with arcane stream, staff of light, full slayer helmet, and ferocious ring, I barely break even, if not lose money. Unless you're using cheap spells, I'd think magic isn't very effective for steel dragons if you're planning on making money. In fact, I don't think steel dragons are in any way good for making money. If you want the bones, kill green or blue dragons. If you want the dragon platelegs/skirts, it's not worth the time, they're too cheap nowadays. Th e Doctor
If you have a yak steels and irons can be "ok" money for maxed players with a CR, extremes, turmoil and soul split. Around a mil an hour. Melee is the best way to go, range is pretty terrible for speed even with broad/addy bolts. Mage is ok but not good money, and really only should be done if you have an arc stream necklace and an SoL. On task obviously use a full slayer helm but you said you're camping so that may not be the case, then use elite void set up with a d defender as the stab bonus is huge and you should be praying melee anyway. Quyneax
The best way to kill them off-task is cannoning in elite void melee, chaotic rapier, defender, ardougne cape 3, fury, dragon boots and berserker (i), using turmoil and overload and a yak to bank bones.
