March 2, 201115 yr After reading some guides and looking at others stats, would it be safe to say a whip staker has 70 attack, 40 str and 70 def? Or around those type of stats? Is the stats good, or are there better versions? [hide]99 Strength 99 Fletching 99 Range 99 Hitpoints 99 Attack99 Dungeoneering <3 99 Magic 99 Smithing 99 Herblore 99 ThevingSlayer Drops: 14 whips, 22 D boots, 27 Granite Mauls, 42 Effigies, 5 Dark Bows. What would be cool is if Drakan and his minions kill all the sig heroes in the quest except Raptor who is wrecking. You and him team up and cave in some vampyre heads. He becomes a total bro in future quests and in a GM quest he receives a fatal injury and his last dying words to you are "Brofist, mang"[/hide]
March 2, 201115 yr So what stops from people getting 80 attack, 40 str and 60 def with rapier? The best stats for a staker is maxed. You just have to know how to stake. First to 99 Farming on 27. September, 2005.First to 3766 Port Score on 20. March, 2014.First to 4664 Port Score on 2. March, 2015.
March 3, 201115 yr I made a staker (in 2006) that had roughly those stats. He was 74 50 70. I actually did VERY well staking. I used whip/barrows. Additionally you can level range/magic and get gear for them as well to expand the options. Statistically this setup will beat mains/low defense pures (of equal or slightly higher combat) the majority of the time, whereas two maxed characters are on more of an equal field. Much of my information regarding staking is now outdated (I quit for 4 years :P). I am not familiar with the current trends, however this setup worked great when I was one of the few using it.
March 3, 201115 yr You will not do well with staking with weapons on without at least 80+ atk and 80+ dungoneering.
