Economical Herblore Training?

Featured Replies

So, I'm at 67 herblore. I'm looking to get up into the high 70s, even low 80s. Time/clicking isn't an issue, but money is.

Can anyone give me some suggestions for cheap (or maybe profitable?) herblore training at my level?

Budget?

10million-ish. I can get more, i'd just rather not blow it.

If time is really no issue, then I'd say go for herb cleaning. Usually profits quite well and with mousekeys it can be done at a good pace.

For a mix of speed and cost, I usually train with prayer pots. They're typically near to the best gp/exp ratio while also being very easy to sell in mass quantities.

With a scroll of cleaning, you should make your own (unf)s to save 10% of the costs.

Also, for further savings, make the (unfs) in this next week and then make (unf) -> potion durring the bonus exp weekend. Over the 10 hours before the multiplier levels off it averages to I think 1.7x bonus. But with less then 10h of herby training that bonus could much better.

So if you don't have anything better to do this week, I'd say;

Buy grimy ranarr -> clean -> make into (unfs) -> buy snape grass

then durring the weekend make the pots. Usually pots crash durring the BXP weekend because everyone's making them, but if you hold your pots for a little while prices usually hop back up fairly quickly, especially with prayer pots.

There isn't any

DK's Drops: 7 Berserker Rings, 2 Warrior Ring, 1 Archers Ring, 7 Dragon Hatchet, 1 Seercull, 3 Elite Clue - All Solo

GWD Drops (CS): 1 Bandos Chestplate, 2 Armadyl Hilt, 1 Armadyl Chestplate

Slayer:1 D skirt, 2 Whip, 12 G Mauls, 2 Dragon Boots

^ Cleaning herbs may be tedious, but it can be cheap and have good xp rates.

Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.

its 100kxp/hr at maxed clicking with mouse keys etc which is still slow for a 300kxp/hr skill. I doubt most pro clickers could keep that up, yet an average player. Average it would be like 60kxp/hr for a skill that got me 300kxp/hr at 14gp/xp which is 5 times as fast.

unless you use mousekeys and can click really fast, do something else for cash then do herblore at decent xp rates.
