Are you guys serious? Why should he spend so much time on training fishing when he can get to Jad easily without the enhanced excalibur?

I agree. EE is extremely helpful, but by no means is it necessary. If 1 def pures can do it, it should be a cinch with or without EE. At least getting to Jad will be, it can be easy to slip up on the actual fight <_<

That should be ample. I really think you're stressing over the inventory too much. Anywhere from 5-7 should be fine especially with your stats. As long as you pray constantly, the 90s will be the only thing you should take damage from.

 

On my runs I just sorta winged it and got to Jad my first try.

One last thing, would it be better to bring enough Super Restores (or just Restores?) to cover the brews' negative effects and use p pots (since I had over 70) or stick with Brews and Restores? If so, what would be a good amount of Super Restores?

I realize my levels are a little higher, but I have no problem getting to Jad with simply prayer pots and sharks. I just max prayer/ranged bonuses. I spend almost nothing. Unfortunately, I keep screwing up the prayer switching, but I've never seen why brews are thought necessary just to get to Jad.

They're not, but it's riskier, and you won't be very happy when you die in the final few waves because you don't have enough sharks.

 

Also, sara brews allow you to go over max hp, which is very useful for Jad in case he hits really hard.

Is this thread for cereals? Take like 2-4 brews, 3 range pots and load up on sup res. you said you've done caves before so you should know how to avoid most of the dmg.

I guess I'll go with my instincts. Just wanted to know what you all thought.
