Help & Advice Suggestion

Featured Replies

Could you possibly make a separate (or sub-categories) category for the 'Advice & Help'-section? I'm tired of seeing quest-related questions because people need to l2Google or are illiterate.

We used to have subforums for Help & Advice but we merged them a few years ago. I feel that it works much better this way. There are many people who like offering advice on a variety of subjects and it's easier for them to just have to view one forum rather than several. Additionally, it's easier for people seeking help to just post in one forum rather than struggle with figuring out which subforum to post in.

Some quests are so damn complex that it's quite easy to make a small mistake and not be able to proceed...has absolutely nothing to do with being illiterate and everything to do with simply being human. It's kind of insulting to suggest otherwise simply because one might feel that simple mistakes are beneath them when in fact everyone makes those mistakes from time to time.

Plus, especially with the influx of incorrectly posted topics in General Discussion that should've been in H&A, I would bet you'd see just as many incorrectly posted topics in H&A as opposed to being in their shiny new subforum. On the whole, it wouldn't solve much of this 'problem', not that there's really any problem to begin with...

I feel that it's fine the way it is. Adding sub-forums will just make it more complicated than it needs to be. As far as expertise or desire to answer certain questions, those threads will just simply not be replied to by those individuals.

I remember when the H&A was separated, and it's far easier for those who like to help out to just have one page to look at, rather than several.
