Weapon binds better than Prom 2h?

Featured Replies

I recently got 99 attack and I'm wondering what primal binds I should consider over my current prom 2h, obviously primal 2h would be best but what about battle axe, rapier and such?

Thanks

Primal Battleaxe is pretty much the only weapon to consider binding over Prom 2H but most stick with Prom 2H, anything else is largely useless unfortunately.

Primal 2h or hex. Those are the only weapons you should ever considering binding over p2h (hex if you're below 100 dg and happen to run into a gazer)

You're pretty much limited to the Primal Battle-axe until you get your third bind (and even then, it's really only marginally useful if you're keying), at which point a primal rapier is a viable tertiary bind. Actually, if you don't have your hood yet, it might be worth toying with a secondary melee weapon rather than a plate.

I wouldn't reccomend getting rid of plate when you are without hood. You'd basically eat trough everything, try to tank nothing and die loads. Even one nonhooded can be a major pain, i can't imagine nonhooded people dealing with 100% damage thrown at them.

As for binds, at <100 dg you are pretty much limited to p2h or primal battleaxe, but i'd recommend baxe with csb(just personal preference, haven't seen anything magical from my 2h yet). Over 100 it's likely even between rapier/necklace and celestial cat as offensive binds, but if you have hex, you'll again have to have 2h or baxe.
