Country: Unknown (but has a habit of using Japanese Honorifics such as -chan and -kun)

Bio: Salem was created in a test tube at an unknown (and most likely illegal) testing facility (she doesn’t know and frankly I don’t know), so no known family relations exist. Her DNA was crossed with DNA from a Barn owl, thus giving her wings that resemble those of a barn owl. Salem had recently been placed in the middle of a place she's never been to before, unknowingly being challenged to survive (aka the scientists are putting her through a test that she doesn't know about yet). Salem (sometime after she finds civilization) hides her wings (like the Flock does numerous times in the Maximum Ride Series) and passed as a normal human being, and gets luckly, volunteering to work on the Unity while she was looking for a job. She is frightened by the idea of what people may do if they discover that she has wings. She’s willing be a leader, and is NOT afraid of guns. She is also pretty good at mixed martial arts, hand-to-hand combat, as well as attacking from a distance. She’s kindhearted and generally in a calm mood. Only attacks when provoked.

I agree with both of you. I vote for democracy as well. Perhaps a common-sense constitution (no theft, killing etc).

A constitution wouldn't help, everyobdy knows that killing people is a bad idea. The things that'll go wrong is when a captain's decission is needed, almost everyone will vote something different and it'll quickly develop into a wall of flaming and spam where no one is able to keep track of the votes and we get nowhere. This is one of the few situations where it would be the worst possible choice, even worse than anarchy.

A Swiss prototype AI designed purely for management of lesser electronics, Miren experienced a number of programming errors and corruptions. Several incidents involving fabricator loops and damaged hydroponic labs later, she was put into quarantine and termination was attempted. Unfortunately, Miren had footholds in essentially the entirety of the research lab that created her. One of the frantic deletions took out the source of her code corruptions, another unintentionally terminated her protocol listings. Miren managed to escape into national computer systems, subsequently presenting a lawsuit against the lab for attempted 'murder.' Intensive testing was conducted and it was ruled that, thanks to numerous errors in her programming rendering her mentally more human- than AI-like, her petition was valid. The trial was brief, with Miren possessing almost complete records of all that was said and done in the labs since her creation, and she recieved compensation in the form of a mobile, humanoid frame.

 

I'll wait to vote until we see who else is joining, and if they're legitimate candidates *cough Mather is being biased and manipulative cough*.

Biased: Voting for Lynx, who you seem to hae some sort of interwebz-crush on which is getting to unhealthy levels. And who obviously would not make a good captain.

Manipulative: Voting for Lynx because she's easily impressionable and the most likely to support you, despite you both being horrible candidates.

I'm voting for Lynx for the excact opposite reason of being biased; because other than me, she is the only one not to have had a leader position.

And I do not expect her to listen more to me than anyone else, though I expect her to listen as opposed to Dusty.

 

If I wanted to vote for someone I'd expect to trust me like that then I'd vote for Retech.

 

 

And I'm not getting a crush on her, it's just that unlike so many of you, I can actually trust her and unlike Retech some of you tend to abuse her.
